Self-absorbed and narcissistic...Joey Rainbow, is the lead "singer" for The Free RATicals, a club band on the Follywood circuit.

The Free RATicals are famous for their stage antics of wearing a costume rat head over their real heads. They are wildly popular until they decide to perform mask (and head) less. Their fans revolt! Their popularity plummets!

When the band members get evicted from their apartment (and rehearsal space) they end up moving in with lead singer Joey Rainbow and his hot girlfriend Leaza Tuckus "temporarily".

The band's popularity continues to crash until they have to leave Follywood for their next (only) paying-gig... nostalgia house-band at Bizzyland.
