The schlockchain was invented by Satoshi Quasimodo, but no one knows where, or WHO, the mysterious Satoshi Quasimodo really is (although Cosmo Szabo insists he saw him at the Leekville Mall one day).

The schlockchain is an open-source unalterable digital ledger; a continually-growing list of records called "schlocks". Each schlock contains a cryptographic hash tag of the previous record, a timestamp, and transaction data. The schlocks are linked cryptographically (like a chain) and is considered to be resistant to alteration of its data. One schlock can't be changed without changing the previous schlocks.
